“Lineage M”, the game developed by the Korean gaming giant NCSOFT and distributed by Gamania, has officially announced on June 9 that there will be the first ever scaled esports live-streamed competition, the “Elite Flag Battle Competition”, on June 25 evening. The competition will simulate the esports model and include pre-game analysis by professional commentator. The entire competition will also be live-streamed on the “Lineage M” Facebook fan page.
The officials will host qualifying rounds in 10 major regions and on a total of 82 servers between June 10 and June 17. The top ten Blood Oath teams to qualify will be announced at 18:00 June 17. The winning team will receive a premium luxury prize from the officials, who will hand out other Blood Oath group prizes, personal prizes, participant prizes, and many more. “Lineage M” will host the first ever scaled and live-streamed esports “Elite Flag Battle Competition”. The world instance dungeon “Forgotten Island” has four flag holders. Players must team up in Blood Oath groups as a unit, with a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 28 players of Lv. 80 or higher, to occupy land and protect their flags. The longer the occupation period will earn different experience point buff effects. The officials will host qualifying rounds in 10 major regions and on a total of 82 servers between June 10 and June 17 to select the Blood Oath who have occupied the flag of each region the longest. The top ten Blood Oath teams to qualify will be announced at 18:00 June 17 on the “Lineage M” Facebook fan page. In addition, the officials want to allow teams that are player favorites but not selected to be able to compete. Thus, a vote will be held on the Facebook fan page between June 17 and June 19. All the players will be able to freely choose their favorite team to enter the competition!
The “Elite Flag Battle Competition” will officially begin at 20:00 on June 25. The winning criteria to be the champion team: is the Blood Oath who have occupied a flag at the end of the competition. The winning team will receive a special luxury grand prize prepared by the officials. There will also be Blood Oath group prizes, personal prizes, participant prizes, and many others.
